An Artist
|
|
| |
She moves through my mind
as a dancer moves across a stage,
each thought a leap, a turn, or a glide,
in synch with the musical suite of my emotions. |
| |
She brings forth emotions in my heart
as a poet brings forth new lyrics,
each feeling a new stanza in unending rhyme,
playing out my life in proper form and meter. |
| |
She colors my life within my soul
as a painter colors a canvas,
vivid expressions coming from within,
varied shades of beauty to look upon. |
|
| |
She sends a song through my body
as a cantor sends a song through the air,
an open tune, wandering through every fiber,
striking chords that vibrate to the bone. |
|
| |
She molds my very existence,
as a sculptor molds with clay,
her thoughts taking shape within me,
as I conform myself to her desires. |
|
| |
She is the artist of my life,
as I behold the beauty she creates,
priceless treasures each, I keep
all her works as a display of my love. |
