Castles In the Sand
- Dreamtime takes me by the hand,
- As darkness crawls across the land,
- I drift into it's warm embrace,
- In shadow there I see your face,
- As we build castles in the sand.
You're my Lady, and I'm your Knight,
Shining armor and horse of white,
I slay the dragon with my sword,
And steal you from the castle's Lord,
Away I ride, my prize held tight.
We ride up to my castle fort,
And enter through the southern port,
I say to all "Behold thy Queen,
Man has no greater beauty seen,
than she who will now rule my court."
Together on the beach we'll ride,
Or swim the ocean side by side,
'Til morning takes me from my sleep,
My tears collect as I weep,
Sand castles swept off in the tide.
