Cloudy Days
- Clouds move in around me,
- Each one forms a memory,
- Of days gone by, of happiness,
- Of hopes of things to be.
-
- Grey skies are all I see,
- There is no sunshine here,
- Just sorrowful emotion,
- Love's regret that I came here.
-
- I turn my face toward the sky,
- And see all there is to see,
- I wish the clouds would go away,
- I long to see the sun.
-
- White whisps of moisture in the air,
- Formed from a thousand tears,
- I hang my head in silence,
- And see no shadow on the ground.
