Mountain Top
- Perched upon a mountain top,
- Where eagles soar so high,
- Water falls, and rivers flow,
- Timeless stillness passes by.
A hazy day of early Spring,
Finds you sitting near,
Sharing nature's wonderment,
So happy to be here.
We pass between jagged rock,
Where peace and quiet surround,
I stop and stare, breathlessly,
At the beauty I have found.
At days end I pause, and sigh,
A smile forms upon my face,
This mountain top you brought me to,
Has become my favorite place.
