When Teardrops Fall
- A tear falls upon my cheek,
- with another close behind,
- their endless source of water,
- the rivers of my mind.
-
- Thoughts of you flow freely,
- floodgates opened wide,
- drowning in my sorrow,
- submerged below high tide.
-
- Teardrops falling always,
- an endless river flows
- each drop is wiped away
- and out to sea it goes.
-
- In these salty waters,
- refreshed by tears anew,
- I swim alone and find
- reflecting pools of you.
